I was also very sad to hear about George Carlin. He was funny and he made sense! I loved his whole skit on how houses are just a place to store all of our s—. And how we have to buy bigger houses to store more… He was definitely a Class Act.
I don’t agree with you about cucumbers though!
Jojoba is pronounced ho ho bah, no J sound.
Hey Chris,
I’m going to be at Turf Paradise on December 27th representing my movie, LOST IN THE FOG, and I thought that your viewers might be interested in hearing this remarkable story. You may or may not be familiar with the story, but Lost in the Fog was the next great racehorse back in 2005. Undefeated through 10 races, the modestly-bred colt and his iconoclastic owner took the racing world by storm that year. I was lucky enough to tag along and make a feature-length documentary about it. At the end of the horse’s racing career, the owner reluctantly agreed to retire the horse to stud and cash in on a 10 million dollar sales offer. Unfortunately for everyone involved (except perhaps me as the filmmaker) the story took a dramatic and unexpected turn. I’ll be out at Turf Paradise on the 27th because they’ll be running the Lost in the Fog Juvenile Stakes that day. Anyway, it’s a great story, one that I thought you would appreciate. Check out the website below and let know if you’d be interested in talking further. Thanks in advance for any consideration.
Best,
John Corey
